The Story behind Wholistic Pet Organics

Situated close to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where the serenity and purity of nature is a daily experience, it was only “natural” that The Wholistic Pet and Wholistic Pet Organics, would evolve. Based simply on a desire that a healthy lifestyle should encompass our most dependent and devoted family members, our dear pets, our catalogue of natural products began to take form in 1998.

Being involved in the dog and horse show world for many years, we are passionately devoted to our pets and have personally experienced the highs and lows of pet ownership. We know, only too well, that the life span of our pets can be far too short. This fact is what started us on a path to holistic health care.

Thus came the first offerings ofanimal health products with real nutrition made solely with whole-food, human-grade, certified organic ingredients. Wholistic Canine Complete was first introduced at the AKC Florida Dog Show Circuit in January of 2001, shortly followed by Wholistic Joint Mobility and Wholistic Sea Blend.

Over the years, Wholistic Pet Organics has grown to include more than 30 different product offerings in multiple sizes for canine, feline, equine and avian. We offer a broad range of supplements, treats and shampoos with a new line of food currently under development.

The quality of products offered by Wholistic Pet Organics is based solely upon using ingredients that are human-grade, certified organic and whole-foods.

Certified organic food is grown, handled, and processed without using conventional pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, genetically-modified organisms, antibiotics, growth hormones, or irradiation. it is the “safest” food available and is the only guarantee that the food ingredients we use are as natural and healthy as nature intended.

Food that is designated for animal use, i.e. feed grade, is typically compromised in the quality of food itself, along with nutritional quality, handling & processing techniques, and quality control standards as opposed to “people” foods, i.e. human grade. basically, “non-people” quality food is the “scraps” slotted for pet food diets.

Whole foods are foods that nature provides with all their edible parts. Because whole foods have not been broken down into their individual parts and can offer many more nutritive benefits, they are much more likely to provide natural disease-fighting benefits than processed foods. Raw, whole foods have not been “de-natured” by cooking methods and are “live foods” loaded with nutrition. Raw, whole food is nature’s best and the only food ingredients that we choose to use. We use no fillers, inert ingredients, synthetic products, etc. in the final product formulations.
