I'd read a lot about the myriad health benefits of taking fermented fish liver oil, so it was with some serious enthusiasm that I ordered this product. When you consider that you're ordering about 120 2 ml servings - or roughly four months' worth (if you tend to take this kind of thing only once a day) - the cost isn't so bad.

I noticed an almost immediate and very positive difference to my day after taking a 2ml squirt of this oil. A charge of subtle, but very keen energy and mental enthusiasm now powers me through my day. In a word, it is fantastic. I'm looking forward to adding high vitamin butter oil to the regimen, to experience the combined effects.

My only word of warning would be to any with a weak fortitude for fishy tastes. The "Spicy Orange" flavor is there, but it doesn't so much cover up the fish flavor as it does offer your palette something else to stare at while you swallow the stuff down. This fish flavor doesn't bother me so much, and I've simply shot the 2ml dose directly into my mouth before taking breakfast. That said, I don't see why mixing this oil with a small beverage or some food wouldn't work in covering up more of that somewhat odorous flavor.

In summary: You cannot lose with this stuff. Pinch your nose if you must, your mind, body and soul will thank you. (Posted on 1/30/12)
