You can feel doubly good, knowing you're getting the highest natural source of the anti-cancer mineral Selenium - just three Brazil nuts give you more than your daily requirement.

They also make fantastic nut milks, and some of the most successful raw food cafes (such as Cafe Gratitude in San Francisco) purchase large amounts of them for their daily nut milk production. Crisp and meaty, our Brazil Nuts are perfect by the handful, tossed into salads, or sweetened with a handful of our dried fruits.

I've always disliked Brazil Nuts. They're the one nut in the jar of mixed nuts that I avoided. It was always bland, hard as a rock, and just generally unpleasant. However I always try them, hoping that one day I'll find one that tastes good because for some odd reason I've always wanted to like the Brazil Nut. I took a gamble and tried these hoping for them to taste better (isn't that the definition of insanity? Trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results? haha) and they did! In fact, they didn't just taste good, they were great! It's exactly what I expected a Brazil Nut to taste like when I first tried them. They're buttery, and have a nice crunch (unlike the rock-like ones I have tried before). I highly recommend that you give these a try. You will be pleasantly surprised! :D (Posted on 9/3/10)
