Here's an easy way to enjoy chia seeds in a delicious, cool and refreshing summer drink. Chia offers a great source of fiber, protein and trace minerals that also give you a lasting, satisfying feeling.
- 2 T chia seeds
- 1/4 C warm, filtered water
- 1/2 C frozen raspberries
- 8-10 oz chilled fruit juice, such as apple, pear, white grape, or lemonade/limeade
- lime slice
In blender, add raspberries and 8 oz chilled juice and blend until smooth.
Pour into glass, gently stir in prepared chia gel, add a squeeze of fresh lime, and enjoy!
