Peruvian Botija Olives
Sorry, we're currently out of stock on olives. We're waiting for the new crop and hope to resume shipments soon.
These delicious black "botija" olives are grown on a family farm on the coastal desert plains of southern Peru, where they are cured and dehydrated. They are dried at temperatures below 100 degrees to retain the maximum amount of nutrients. They are raw, USDA-certified organic and Kosher-certified.
They come in three varieties:
Botija Olives - 1/2 lb bag of raw, organic, kosher olives with their pits removed.
Botija Olives with Aji - 1/2 lb bag of Botija Olives with Aji Pepper added. Aji, a local Peruvian pepper, is added to enhance the flavor. (The Aji is mild; not overwhelming.)
Botija Olives with Herbs - 1/2 lb bag of Botija Olives are spiced with an organic herb mixture (black mint, oregano, thyme, rosemary) and sea salt.
The Botija Olives with aji and herbs are not pitted. All three types should be refrigerated after opening.
