Assist Enzymes is a powerful, fast-acting, high-potency enzyme formula. It is formulated to provide a wide range of useful digestive enzymes to help break down food, absorb nutrients, and prevent gas and bloating. Enzymes
Enzymes may be our most important nutrients. They are protein-like substances responsible for nearly every facet of life and health. When we eat raw foods, we are consuming food enzymes that enable proper digestion. However, food enzymes are destroyed at temperatures above 118 degrees, and cooked foods and processed foods are devoid of them.
Without the food enzymes to help break down our foods, the pancreas must create all the enzymes necessary to digest the cooked foods. This constant need depletes our store of enzymes, strains the body, and causes the pancreas to enlarge. And as we age, there is a slow and constant decrease in the enzyme content of our bodies.
